While a while ago, you could not access a website without running into some Flash element, all that changed thanks to the interactive content provided by HTML5. Without denying its benefits, some users would still like to play some of their old favorite games.
SuperNova SWF Enabler is an extension for Chrome that allows you to play your favorite SWF game content in a standalone player launched from the browser. The idea behind the utility is to provide an alternative to players who enjoy Flash games considering that Google plans to phase out the support for Adobe Flash Player. As a consequence, hundreds of web games and web content can no longer be accessed.
According to the developer, for now you can use the extension solely to re-enable Adobe Flash Player. However, considering that the full support is going to be dropped at the end of 2020, you may need to install the full player to continue accessing SWF content.
It is worth mentioning that users claim it does not work with all Flash games and that you need to enable it on each site you access. In the eventuality that the extension does not enable the Flash Player in your Chrome browser, then a fix suggested by other users would be to restart the browser.
